Ministry of Electricity to sign EUR200 million contract with Alstom for five substations
The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company plans to sign a EUR200-million contract, within the coming few days, with Alstom to build five electrical substations, according to Electricity Ministry sources. The project is expected to be carried out over six months, during which one 500 KV substation will be built in two months as part of the emergency electricity plan, while three 220 KVs and another 500 KV substation will be built within six months from the signing.
